At the University Orientation Meeting of the 2023-2024 academic year, the theatrical performance titled "Guided by the Wind", written and directed by lecturer Buket Deniz, with music consultancy by lecturer Yonca Yüksel and speech coaching by research assistant Zafer Öncül at the Department of Theatre, met with an intense audience. Our second and third year students, Burcu Doğru, Emrullah Kurt, Mehmet Mert Çevik, Mehmet Kılıç, Simge Arıcan, Tuğçe Ateş, and Zeynep Nur Tolgay, took part in the play. The theatrical performance, which introduced Çanakkale and ÇOMÜ to the new students of our school, was highly appreciated. After the performance, Sıla Estel Giritlioğlu, a fourth-year student of the Department of Theatre, gave a sincere speech to the new students joining the COMU family, sharing her thoughts and feelings about being a member of COMU and wishing success to all students on behalf of our faculty and department.
