On December 17, 2025, as the Department of Theatre, we paid a visit to the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with the Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Prof. Dr. Uğur Türkmen, and the Vice Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Eken Küçükaksoy, who kindly hosted us. The visit was attended by our Head of Department, Dr. Lecturer Vecihe Özge Zeren; our Vice Heads of Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Çizmeci and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Yüksel; and our academic staff members, Instructor Yonca Yüksel and Research Assistant Dr. Özge Bozdoğan. During the visit, we expressed our wishes that the newly opened building and the Rüveyde–Yüksel Ergen Concert Hall would be beneficial to our faculty members and students, as well as to the entire university.

We hope for an increase in production and sharing in the fields of music and performing arts, and we wish that this new faculty building and stage will provide a space for productive and long-lasting artistic work.
