The second of the performances announced under the title "The Department of Theatre Sends Off 2023 with Plays" was staged with FAUST. The play met with an intense audience at the NFK Theatre Hall on the evening of December 20, 2023. Directed by Assoc. Prof. Esra Çizmeci, a member of the Department of Theatre, and dramaturgised by Asst. Prof. V.Özge Zeren, the play's movement consultant was Asst. Prof. Şebnem Yüksel, and the music consultant was Lect. Yonca Yüksel. The stage decor and visual design of the play were made by Prof. Hakan Daloğlu, Head of Painting Department, and his team, and the costume design was made by members of the Textile and Fashion Design Department, Assoc. Prof. Gülşah Polat and Lect. Şule Günal. Theatre Department students Yiğit Furkan Atcı, Nuri Cabaroğlu, Estel Giritlioğlu, Duygu Kula, Melih Karlık, Rana Erol, Yasemin Yancı, Cansu Maral Çelik, Burcu Doğru, Mehmet Kılıç, and Simge Arıcan took part in the play. The play, which attracted great interest, will continue to be performed in the spring term. The last play of the Theatre Department in December, "Kafka: Father and Son" will meet the audience on December 26, 2023, at 20 p.m. at NFK Theatre Hall.
