Dr. Yiğit Can Güldiken and Dr. Ayşenur Balcan from the Department of Neurology, and Dr. Gözde Naz Darcan from the Department of Psychiatry at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine visited our department on March 17, 2026. The meeting was attended by our Head of Department Dr. Vecihe Özge Zeren, our Vice Head of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Çizmeci, and our department students Mustafa Ölmez, Burcu Doğru, Salihcan Saban, and Beyza Çoban. During the meeting, an evaluation was conducted on the “Neuro-Stage” project planned to be implemented in October. Within the scope of the project, which is based on interdisciplinary collaboration, the creative and research-based connections that can be established between neuroscience and performing arts were discussed; the potential of the process in terms of both artistic production and scientific contribution was emphasized. The meeting concluded with strong wishes to take concrete steps in the upcoming period and to develop joint work.
