The second of the plays that the senior students of the Department of Theatre worked on within the scope of the Play Project course was staged on the evening of 2 April 2024. The play, adapted and directed by our senior student Yiğit Furkan Atcı based on Aiskhylos' tragedy 'Prometheus Bound', and supervised and dramaturged by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Çizmeci, met with the audience for the first time at the Faculty of Fine Arts NFK Theatre Hall. Lecturers and students from the Department of Painting, the Department of Graphics and the Department of Textile and Fashion also took part in the play, which is about the fact that Prometheus, who stole fire and presented it to humanity and made them the rulers of the earth, was persecuted by Zeus, the god of gods, and that humanity used the privileges granted to him to destroy the earth.
