As part of the Creative Workshop course, third-year students of the Theatre Department staged Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Çizmeci. The play premiered on May 7 and 8, 2025, at the NFK Theatre Hall.

Performed with two separate casts, our students Simge Arıcan, Tuğçe Ateş, Ezgi Bahar Aydoğan, Kadir Bozkurt, Mehmet Mert Çevik, Burcu Doğru, Nil Ergen, Mehmet Kılıç, Emir E. Kurt, Mustafa Ölmez, Uygar Öztürk, and our faculty member Zafer Öncül took the stage.

We sincerely congratulate all our students and faculty members who contributed to the production, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the audience members who did not leave us alone during the performances.

Our production of The Cherry Orchard will meet the audience once again on May 13, 2025 at 8:30 PM, at the NFK Theatre Hall. Admission is free and no reservation is required — everyone is warmly welcome.
