On April 26, 2023, significant meetings and studies took place in our faculty as part of the project that the Department of Theater and TRT were working on together. Within the scope of the project negotiations, in which the play Faust, directed by Associate Professor Esra Çizmeci, and the play preparation works are planned to be broadcast on our external stakeholder TRT, we first met with our Dean, Prof. Evren Karayel Gökkaya. Head of the Department of Theater Assistant Professor Özge Zeren, Associate Professor Esra Çizmeci Avcı, producer Serpil Tsioros, and decorator Merve Yörük Berki from the TRT team shared the aims and details of the project with our Dean. After the meeting with our dean, the team met with Prof. Hakan Daloğlu, lecturer Vahid Novruzov, interior architect Pınar Taşar, and research assistant Zafer Öncül from the Department of Theater and held a meeting on the design elements of the play. In addition, TRT cameramen Seyfi Sinan and Kenan Güleşçe recorded the flow rehearsal of the play for preliminary evaluation at the NFK Theater Hall. As a result of the very productive meetings and work, the final shooting of the play and documentary is scheduled to be completed in June.
