Works in Progress, realized under the coordination of Associate Professor Şebnem Yüksel, one of our department faculty members, and with the contributions of our first-year students, held its first event on March 25, 2026. Open to the participation of academics, students, and graduates from all fields, Works in Progress offers a meeting ground that creates space for the sharing of short performative research. Aiming to bring ideas that are still in the process of formation together with the audience, the event seeks to establish a network of production extending from the department to the city by activating creative energy. At the event, Associate Professor Şebnem Yüksel, and our students Ozan Hüseyin Güneş, Sude Kaput, Beyna Alp, Berke Can Tüfekçi, Ekin Yıldırım, Emre Aris Doğru, Çağla Karaeğemen, Marziye Kahraman, Cemre Su Özgür, Zeynep Nisa Uysun, Enes Şevik and Zerda Kaya were on stage with their performances. We would like to thank everyone who participated in our event, which will continue to create space for the potential of the unprocessed in the coming periods.
